The children's author David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Prolific children's author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company stated: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding allegations of questionable actions directed at young women.
The publisher did not confirm the reasons for its decision, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."
A Prolific Writing Journey
Walliams is one of the UK's most prolific writers for young readers, having sold over six tens of millions of copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles in total, which features a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins this past October.
From Screen to Page
He first rose to fame on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for charity and the arts.
This development follows the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive in October.
